Featherbed Tour Overview
If Knysna’s one of South Africa’s favourite destinations, you can only imagine how you’ll love it. We begin the morning with a comfortable ferry ride across Knysna’s pretty estuary to the secluded Featherbed Nature Reserve, home to the blue duiker, Knysna Loerie and other exquisite feathered friends. From there, we take a 4x4 trailer ride to the summit, where the panoramic view of the Knysna Basin and way out to sea, is one for the memory banks…and photographers! Knysna’s renowned for its age-old, towering milkwood trees, and we amble through the cool forest, hugging the breathtaking coastline, and head for a sociable buffet lunch served under the gentle milkwoods. Now that’s what you’ll call a beautiful, soothing and most satisfying day. Click to Enquire

Port Elizabeth City Tour Overview
The coastal city of Port Elizabeth is steeped in history, and a half day spent here provides a superb overview of its significant role in the South African story. We’ll explore the many memorable sights of the City, and enjoy its superb examples of exquisite Victorian and Edwardian architecture. We’ll travel along the beachfront, past the harbour and into the old town, with a visit to Settler’s Park and St George’s Park, proud home of eastern Province cricket. With its beautiful beaches and strong sense of cultural past, Port Elizabeth is a superb destination for a sizeable glimpse of South Africa’s journey to today. Click to Enquire

Shebeen Tour Overview
That was then, this is now…and for those who like to scratch below the surface of appearances, join our Shebeen Tour, and experience the lifestyle – current and historical – of most South Africans. Spend time in a township, experience the diversity of the area, and learn about the origins and transformation of these enclaves. We’ll walk through the informal settlement, and we assure you, you’ll be warmed by the hospitality. The tour has also factored in a visit to a small local craft centre where community artists display their wares. Share a drink with the local community in a tavern in New Brighton township, and listen first-hand to real stories of life here from those who live it daily. Enjoy an unforgettable dinner at this traditional local bar, known as a shebeen - it’s an opportunity to meet and mingle with those who were on the wrong side of apartheid, and to hear how life has changed dramatically for them. It’s a day you won’t forget.

Real City Tour (Township Tour) Overview
Our Real City Tour is about people, the history of all people of Port Elizabeth and the changes that have taken place since the demise of apartheid; the initiatives taken to rise above their previous circumstances. We weave our way through the numerous layers of the City, from the City Centre, through areas historically inhabited by “coloured” people, and on to the vast African townships, showcasing the extreme diversity of these. We introduce you to common scenes of South African life: you’ll experience an informal trading area in the township, and visit a township school where you’ll enjoy a traditional African tea, a fundraising initiative to assist such schools. We’ll visit a small local craft market, and spend time learning about the projects in place to assist communities to become self-sufficient. Our Real City Tour is just that. Real life in South Africa, and you’ll be gratified by the innumerable initiatives in place, big and small, to raise the standard of living of our countrymen.
