Balloon Safaris Overview
As the sun’s about to rise, we travel to the launch site and prepare for lift off. We’re all involved in the preparation, which adds to the anticipation. As the balloon’s inflating and the sun’s just peeking over the horizon, we’ve earned our mug of piping hot tea or coffee, and we board our hot air balloon to soar with the birds. The balloon ride lasts for about an hour, and for those 60 minutes, you’re not on planet earth...and it’s a great feeling. But when it’s over, it’s not quite over, for on landing, we’re promised a hearty breakfast at a local country lodge, so we’ll have ample time to mull over the experience and compare notes.
